The Kennedy Cougars Boys Varsity regular soccer season has come to an end. For the second time in 3 seasons, the Cougars have qualified for the Playoffs, only missing one season last year because of COVID.
A spot in the playoffs came down to Senior Night this past Saturday, Kennedy needing a win over Monterrey Trails, which they would win 2-1.
Midway through the season, things looked rough with Kennedy being 4th place in the conference, but they rallied and won 5 of their last 7 games to clinch a playoff spot.
The Cougars will be playing a “win or go home” playoff game at Vacaville 11-0-3 on February 10.
