Hopefully all Seniors have completed their financial aid, but what’s next? After completing the FAFSA application and going over it, there have been minimal updates as to what to do next or what to expect. By now, if you’ve applied to any college and you know that you’re admitted, they are obligated to roll out your financial aid packages so you can make decisions on your future financial plans such as paying for your classes. If you or any of your other peers are having difficulty with seeing the packages, please make sure to log into the portal of your admitted school and check the financial area.

May 1 was the deadline to commit so make sure you've looked at your options and considered your choice financially and academically. Make sure you submit your enrollment deposit and any required documentation such as transcripts. Keep in mind to log into your FAFSA and CalGrant accounts frequently for any incoming packages. For some, many of their packages are still pending and/or on hold but that is due to several reasons.
If you do not receive anything by June 30th, 2025, please contact CSAC at Studentsupport@csac.ca.gov or call 888-224-7268
SENIORS we are nearing the end but make sure to finish strong, colleges are still looking at transcripts for your senior year. Also make sure to check things off your senior checklist such as returning all books and materials from the school. Keep an eye out for any senior updates and events. Note that CALSOAP is also visiting classrooms again for the last time to help with any changes or answer questions that will help seniors understand more about any difficulties.
