After a long season, the seniors' football season is coming to an end, and on Friday, October 25, the Kennedy Cougars played West Park for their Senior Night. With one game left in the season, the Cougars are wanting to finish strong.
This season, the Cougars had 17 seniors on their roster and deserve some recognition:
Elijah Baum
Kyrie Boyce-Carlton
Ronald Williams Carson
Tyus Carter
Tommy Cornelius
Holden Daniels
Noe Gomez Chavez
Jadon Robinson
Ryan Smith
Xavier Smith
Elliott Stellmach
Elias Tern
Diamon Trujillo
Darius Tate
Jayden Walker
Ali Wavrin
Dre Williamson
Thank you to these Cougars for their hard work and dedication to the Cougar football team. Before the game, the seniors were announced and applauded, the game began.
Before the game, the seniors of JFK were announced and the game was set to begin. The Cougars' good defense held West Park to only a touchdown in the first quarter with a fumble recovery and an interception. In the second quarter, Kennedy started to slip, losing 28-0. At half time, the football seniors were announced again, then the band performed and announced their seniors. After halftime, the Cougars couldn’t stop the Panthers from scoring.
The Cougars took a bad loss against the West Park Panthers with a final score of 49-0. The Cougars have one more game left this season against Antelope at 7:15 (Away at Antelope) to cap off the season. Antelope is 2-7 on the season and recently lost to Destiny Christin. Can the Cougars pull off one more win this season?
Thank you again to all the seniors for their hard work for the team.
