Kennedy Spring Sports Wrap Up

As the sports season comes to an end, here is a recap of Kennedy’s spring sports and their upcoming final games. 


Softball


The Kennedy Softball team is currently 6-10. Coming off a loss from Antelope on Tuesday, April 22, their recent game was on Thursday, April 24 with a win against Cordova. 


The rest of their season will be away: McClatchy Tuesday, April 29; then, West Park on Wednesday, May 1; and finally, Grant on Tuesday, May 6.


Volleyball


The Kennedy Varsity Volleyball team’s last game was Thursday, April 24 against Grant – this game was also Senior Night. 

The team is currently 9-10, with a recent loss against West Park. 


Junior Varsity is currently 15-4, with a recent loss against West Park as well. Their last game is also on Thursday April 24.


Freshman are 8-1, finishing their season on Tuesday April 22 with a win against Pleasant Grove.


Golf


Both boys and girls golf team's last game is on Monday April, 28. The girls team is currently 6-2 and the boys (Source: MaxPreps) is 0-1. 


Swim


The Kennedy Swim team had their last meet on Thursday April 10 against West Park. 


Baseball


The Kennedy Varsity baseball team is currently 3-20 with a loss against Antelope on Monday April 21. The team had a game yesterday Wednesday, April 23 against Cordova. The team’s last games are McClatchy on Friday, April 25, West Park on Monday, April 28, and Grant on Friday, May 2. 

The Kennedy Junior Varsity baseball team went 0-12 with a loss in their last game to Antelope on Monday, March 31 (Source: MaxPreps)


Track & Field


The Kennedy track & field team’s recent meet was on Saturday, April 19, followed by Saturday, April 26. Their last two meets will be on Tuesday, May 6 and Thursday, May 8. 


Of course we would like to give a special thank you to all of the teams and players for their hard work and dedication they put in every practice and game. And a thank you to the seniors for your hard work throughout your years here at Kennedy.
