Excitement is in the air as Cougars gear up for this year's Club Rush, happening this Friday, September 6, during both Lunch A and Lunch B. Whether you’re a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior, this is an opportunity to explore the diversity of clubs Kennedy has to offer.

Club Rush is not just an event, it's a gateway to discovering new interests, making friendships, and becoming an active member of Kennedy's vibrant community. With 30 clubs to choose from, students can find something that sparks their curiosity: academics, sports, arts, culture, or philanthropy, or other topics that align with student passions.

Here’s why students should attend Club Rush:

1. Explore New Interests: Club Rush provides students with the chance to wander into areas they might not have considered before. Who knows? They might discover a hidden talent, interest, or even a focus on community service.

2. Meet New People: Joining a club is a fantastic way to meet fellow students from various grades who share similar interests. It’s a setting to make connections and form friendships that can last throughout high school and beyond.

3. Get Involved: Being part of a club is about more than just attending meetings. It’s about contributing to projects, participating in events, and making a difference in Kennedy and the wider community.

4. Enhance Your Resume: Involvement in clubs looks great on college applications. It showcases initiative, teamwork, and leadership skills. Plus, students gain valuable experiences that can help in the future.

So, mark your calendars and take a break from your usual routine to make the most of this chance to find a club that excites you. Remember, whether you’re new to the school or have been here for years, there's always something new to discover.

Let's pack the quad during both lunches and show our school spirit Join a club, meet new friends, and most importantly, have fun!

It's so important to get these community events out there to help students improve their lives here. I hope you all at The Clarion continue with your service journalism!
