History behind Friday the 13th

The number "13" has been taken into consideration to be unlucky, and Friday the 13th may be important to some people because of the superstitions behind it.


Some say it's unlucky because the Christianity superstitions behind it: at the Last Supper, there were thirteen guests, the thirteenth being Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus Christ. Also, the crucifixion of Christ took place on a Friday many have led for Friday the 13th to be a very unlucky day.


Despite that, some cultures and beliefs even consider it the day to be lucky.


Friday the 13th happens every seven years and can occur 2-3 times in a year.


We won't have another one till the year 2029!
