Students in Associated Student Body (ASB) put on Kennedy's Welcome Tailgate event before the Cougars football home games on Friday, September 6.
The Tailgate was for JFK students, at the entrance of the stadium. Many dressed up in tropical gear for the theme of the football game.
Tailgate started off with some music and food. There was a barbeque with hotdogs, burgers and corn. Many lined up and enjoyed the food and even went back for seconds.
Not just students got to enjoy the barbeque -- even Kennedy staff members got in line to enjoy some food before the game. Students, teachers, and staff members worked the stands.
There were stations for drinks, food, face painting, and photos. It was a time to socialize and get ready to cheer on the football team for the third home football game of the season.
I'm glad to see the follow through after the event! It's so important to highlight the new things we're doing here for campus life. Can't wait to see what else you photograph and cover!
