A Sacramento Native
With the 15th pick in the 1st round, the Indianapolis Colts selected Laiatu Latu, an EDGE from UCLA. He is originally from Sacramento and attended Jesuit High School. He was described as a “solid young man” who was “very coachable." During his college career at Washington & UCLA, he recorded 61 solo tackles, 5 fumbles, and 2 interceptions. He was the first defensive player selected in the 2024 NFL Draft.
